Tip #2: When Laminators Attack!

When approaching a hibernating laminator, it is best to not turn on and expect immediate usage. Laminator will need time to warm up and will let you know when its ready to laminate by sounding a tone (*BEEP*) that is subtle, yet high pitched enough that you can hear it from over 20 feet away.
BEFORE YOU LAMINATE, READ THE DIRECTIONS AND LAMINATOR MANUAL. It will prove most beneficial! Please follow the list of tips below for better handling of an office Laminator:
1. If during said laminating your machine jams, making a loud, unsettling noise accompanied by the smell of burning plastic, do not panic and never turn off the machine. This will cause the laminator to stop, cool down and thus harden the plastic left wrinkled inside the machine. This will not be good. If, however, such an event does occur, do not continue your stance by the Laminator. Run away and hope no one saw you.
2. If spotted as the perpetrator of the jam and its too late to run away, call for reenforcements and backup. Hopefully the spotter will walk away and forget they ever saw you. If spotter proceeds to walk towards you and does indeed help out, refrain from touching the machine anymore and hope the spotter breaks something. When this happens, begin screaming and telling everyone that so-and-so broke the laminator! and deny any responsibility to the entire incident.
3.If spotted as the perpetrator, and its too late to run away, and the spotter refuses to touch the broken piece of office equipment, start crying profusely and say how upset you are at this horrendous outcome and plead for help from the spotter to help you. Then finish the sequential steps of tip #2.

Remember... this is a bare necessity to surviving. Always, always, always blame someone else.
